Die Tatsachen im Falle Waldemar

This is a quick sketch inspired in Edgar Allan Poe’s story “The Facts in the case of M. Waldemar” (1845), which I downloaded as an audio file spoken in German at vorleser.net (there’s a French version at Litteratureaudio.com, which is excellent!). It’s definitely one of my favorites written by Poe.

I first sketched this illustration with pencil, then colored the hat and jacket with watercolor and added digital colors in Photoshop.
