Written by Fuat Erkol and Christian Simon, this first tome of the dyptic “Awrah” depicts the life of a rich family living in the Iraq during the reign of the great Harun al-Rashid. Tahar, a poor orphan adopted by the kind and generous Nassim el-Abar, finds himself in the midst of a cruel dilemma as he falls in love with Nadia, the woman his adoptive father wants to marry.
